Play rugby in Spain, the country of soccer.

Soccer is, of course, the most popular in Spain. World-famous, such as the Barcelona Football Club (called Barça) and Real Madrid, but there are many other great teams out there. However, while popular and world-class sports include basketball, tennis, motorcycles, F 1, and bicycles, rugby is not very popular.

I searched the internet for Barça's rugby team in Barcelona, but I didn't know if there was a rugby team in Sitges.

After moving to Sitges, I went jogging and searched for traces of rugby in the town and some distance away.

One day, I found a rugby H-shaped pole on the mountain side, a little away from my house. After that, I changed the time many times and went to see the practice, but there is no evidence that it is being used at all. I put on spikes and ran there, but it seems that it is not here because it is full of weeds and stones and both sides are a little narrow to play the game.

A few months later, as I was walking around town, I found a poster of a rugby game announcement in the store. When I asked the owner of the store,  the child asked me to put up a poster, so he said he didn't know anything about rugby just because he put it up. The location was written as Santa Barbara, so I searched on the map of Sitges and searched around while jogging. I found a sand ground with an H-shaped pole in the field on the mountainside, a little away from the center.

スペインでの初めての試合

There is a night game lighting, but there are only about 4 containers next to the ground, and I couldn't find anything that looked like a building.

But it seems that I finally got the chance to play rugby in Spain.
